Sunday Fun: Self-Importance Test…
I saw the great results that Matt ended up with in taking the Technosailor Self Importance Test, and had to give it a try… Turns out I’m most like Chris Pirillo…
The result is fascinating in that it is somewhat like reading a horoscope…
You are most like Chris Pirillo. You dominate your brand and do quite well in marketing it. However, you go out of the way to place the focus on other people as much as possible as a decision on power and authority. You may have many followers, readers or fans but you rarely let this distract you from your mission and focus.

I am also like Chris Pirillo.
Dustin, let’s code one of these things for Raincityguide.com writers: Which RCG writer are you most like?

I’m like Chris Pirillo, too. I briefly met him at the KOMO Bloggers meet up…I didn’t know he was a celebrity! ![]()

I’m game….
You are like Darren Rowse. You are relatively mild mannered, confident in how you operate and choose not to “rock the boat”. Your ego does not flair often. Instead, you choose to assist other bloggers as much as possible. In some cases, you may find it to be your mission in life. You do not participate in a large amount of social networking and if you do, you’re not particularly aggressive about “friending” people. To you, it is a waste of time that could be used for more productive things.
Yep…moderate, helpful, supportive, selective where I put my energy…that’d be me!

I am most like Matt Mulleweg also. Who in hell is Matt Mullenweg?
(Which is the perfect question really since I’m sure my name would get a similar response from 99.999% of the population)

So much fun to see everyone’s feedback!
And Sandy, even more than Automattic, Matt is the man who is most responsible for making WordPress a success. It’s an open-source project, so I imagine he’d only claim a tiny bit of credit, but he really is a brilliant, open and very interesting guy!
And like many of the most popular blogs, especially in real estate, RCG is using wordpress and has from the very beginning! ![]()

You are most like Matt Mullenweg. Though you recognize your authority, you do not relish the idea of using your power too aggressively. Instead, you rely on peers a lot. You do participate in the social media world, but it is not something that occupies a lot of time. You most likely devote yourself to projects that you feel passionate about and tend to evangelize those things quite a bit.

Dang, I’m a Matt Mullenweg also! He’s a Texan also- that must be why.
(or because I don’t Twitter or wait in line for tech toys)

Pretty interesting last sentence there.
