i also saw a microsoft product that let’s multiple users engage in discussion online from remote locations. it looked complicated but should be easy to use.
we have a construction consultation idea that we would think video would work for. where did this come from and does it have a hand held video option?
I think this is great. A lot of people don’t type that fast; hence, commenting is more difficult for them. And sometimes it would just take too long to address a particular issue by typing. I think people will add comments using this that wouldn’t have been otherwise because sometimes it’s a lot easier just to say it.
Dustin, I can’t believe how much slower you’re speaking (as compared to the seminar). I’ll give the video a try when my hubby isn’t playing his Doors albums. Will it work with a Mac (that’s the only computer that currently has a camera)?
Just a quick note, I found that I need to click on “add a video comment” and then I select “anonymous”. I tried logging on to creat an account w/Seesmic and was not successful (don’t know if that’s a Mac issue).
Just discovered my issue w/registering….my name was taken…so I’m using another instead. I’ll give it a try at my next video moment (most likely tomorrow sometime).
My first impression was, “Do you think anyone will use it?” Lo and behold I click to comment and I see that some are. I think with the growing trend of the use of video in blogs that this is a natural option. As a reader, I did find myself spending a little more time here to watch a few, and I guess that is what you want.

while putting up the next video comment it recorded over the video i already put up. i’m having some learning curve issues.

Now if I could only get a stunt double!
no it doesn’t let you log in but does show your name.
I think the videos have a sticky quality. Dustin, I felt like I was (almost) having a live conversation with you–a step beyond texting.
I do thank you for this because video and pod casts are things I want to add to my blogging efforts and you just forced me closer to that!

manana. it records now but doesn’t translate to the post.
