Sound Transit test push June 17, 2008
All aboard! The track is done, but the electric isn’t up yet, so Sound Transit did a test push a few days ago. I sort of wish the Central Link had a dirtier name to complement the Seattle S.L.U.T. (t-shirts here).

Wow–I’d missed the news that the track had been completed. I live a few blocks from the Edmunds Street station, and it was really exciting to see the photo set of the test run!
Since the Central Link runs from Seattle to Tukwila, maybe it could be affectionately regarded as, um, the Central Link Intercity Transit?
That’s a hilarious name!
